Depth of Field (DOF) allows you to create an effect similar to traditional photography whereby one plane relative to the camera is in focus and objects closer as well as farther away from the camera are out of focus are blurry. Here, the process for creating this in a still image is shown. Another demonstration for motion graphics DOF will follow.
