A Hipster Logo
For this project, we will stick to the principles described in the Hipster Logo Design Guide. to create both a vector and a ‘distressed’ version of the logo in Photoshop.
You can alter this to become your own Hipster logo, as long as your logo follows the Hipster manifesto and uses principles discussed in the Hipster Logo Design Guide. No cheating! You can’t use the Hipster Logo Generator, you must create this logo using the artisinal method – by hand in Illustrator and Photoshop.
This exercise focuses on best practices, and is a step by step guide that will walk you through the entire process. You will learn lots of keyboard shortcuts as you complete this exercise, as well as working methods for alignment, and organization of your layered Illustrator file.
