When adding a stroke around typography, special consideration needs to be made regarding how the stroke effects the type. The default stroke in Illustrator, effectively ruins type when it’s used. This video explains why and shows a fix to the problem.

Bonus feature – I demo how using a stroke combined with a blend object can make a neat depth effect that is very graphic, and maintains the integrity of the font!
